In the next series of photographs you will see how piling the foundations is done |
With the piles in place the next procedure is to link them altogether by a series of steel rods in the form of beams |
After the trench is complete to save on the amount of concrete required the trench is shuttered either side to the width required for the foundation |

At this point the foundation has been widened, and you can just see two of the sunken piles, one either side |
Here in this photograph we see a close-up of the pile. In the centre a steel rod is suspended which later will be filled with concrete holding firm the beams to the pile |
